Letter Supporting Simplification of Private Foundation Excise Tax

United Philanthropy Forum and 21 philanthropy-serving organizations sent this letter to Speaker Pelosi, Republican Leader McCarthy, Chairman Neal, and Ranking Member Brady, as well as all other Representatives on the Ways and Means Committee, in support of simplifying the private foundation excise tax to a revenue-neutral, flat 1.39 percent.

Forum's Letter to Representative Serrano on Census Appropriations Bill

United Philanthropy Forum submitted a letter to Representative Serrano and the House Appropriations Committee to protect section 534 in the FY 2020 CJS Appropriations legislation (H.R. 3055). This provision would prohibit the addition of questions on the 2020 Census that were not part of the 2018 End-to-End Census Test.
