30 foundations and philanthropy serving organizations (PSOs), including United Philanthropy Forum and eight Forum members, signed an amicus curiae brief that was submitted to the Supreme Court in support of removing the citizenship question from the 2020 Census.
Accountability Self-Assessment Tool for Unstaffed Foundations
This tool for unstaffed foundations includes an accountability self-assessment and a legal checklist. It is divided into nine topic sections, each of which is divided into three levels, which can help foundations tailor the tool to meet their specific interests and needs. Giving in Florida 2015: Florida Foundation Giving Reaches Record High
Giving by Florida’s foundations reached a record-high $1.5 billion in 2013, increasing 15 percent from the previous year and 50 percent over a 10-year period, according to a new report by Florida Philanthropic Network, Florida’s statewide association of grantmakers. When adding in giving by individual Floridians, charitable giving in Florida totaled $16.3 billion.
