2020 Forum Board Candidate Recommendation Form
The Forum’s Governance Committee is currently inviting recommendations for candidates to consider for service on the Forum’s Board of Directors. The Committee is seeking Director candidates who can provide exemplary strategic leadership and guidance for the Forum as we work to maximize our network’s strengths to lead change and increase impact in philanthropy. The Committee is seeking to add three new Directors to the Board for three-year terms starting in July 2020.

Forum's Letter to Representative Serrano on Census Appropriations Bill
United Philanthropy Forum submitted a letter to Representative Serrano and the House Appropriations Committee to protect section 534 in the FY 2020 CJS Appropriations legislation (H.R. 3055). This provision would prohibit the addition of questions on the 2020 Census that were not part of the 2018 End-to-End Census Test.
Forum Comments to Federal Reserve System (Re: Nonprofit Loan Program)
On June 22, 2020, the Forum submitted comments encouraging the Federal Reserve System to include a loan forgiveness provision and not to exclude nonprofits with less than 50 employees in the Main Street Lending Program to provide access to credit for nonprofit organizations (which are often led by and serve communities of color, communities hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic).
