Electronic Grant Application Processes and Vendors

Publication date:
June, 2010

We have received an inquiry from a private foundation about using an electronic grant application process. While a number of the Council’s corporate and community foundation members offer online grant submittals, most of the independent and private foundations are using LOIs and written applications.

I would be interested in knowing if you have smaller foundation members that are receiving grant applications digitally via an application server product or grant application software and whether they’d be willing to talk with our member.

Thank you for your responses and connections.

Some smaller foundations, especially family foundations with far flung family members, use Foundation Source. They are a commercial back office service: online grantmaking, tracking, compliance monitoring, etc.
