#OrlandoUnited: Resources for Action

Who Will Watch the Charities? Regionals Respond

Last week in New Orleans, members of Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy (EPIP) gathered for their annual conference with the purpose of developing leaders who are better equipped to advance social change. Through the lens of social justice, the conference planned to expose conference participants to fresh ideas, provide stellar examples of emerging leaders, and create pathways to meaningful change. Over the past twenty years, FPN has marshalled a statewide community of philanthropic leaders in a collective effort to build a stronger Florida through strategic partnerships, knowledge sharing, and policy. As a network, we have explored critical issues, determined community priorities, and worked towards a shared goal to strengthen philanthropy in the sunshine state. As we celebrate this important milestone, we can reflect on your impact that has positioned Florida at the forefront of the philanthropic sector. We can also begin to chart the course for the next 20 years.
