PolicyWorks Institute & Foundations on the Hill 2020 Registration Is Now Open

Monday, December 9, 2019

Join United Philanthropy Forum for our annual PolicyWorks Institute and Foundations on the Hill events in Washington, DC, March 8-11, 2020. This is an opportunity to come to the Nation's capital to build your capacity in policy and meet with Congress to discuss pivotal issues in philanthropy.

PolicyWorks Institute 2020

March 8-9, 2020

Our PolicyWorks Institute is the primary opportunity for regional and national philanthropy-serving organizations (PSOs) to take a “deep dive” together over several days to strengthen their policy and advocacy work.

Join the policy staff from PSOs and their foundation members to enhance your organization's capacity to engage more effectively in advocacy, public policy and government relations work. You’ll experience plenary sessions to inspire and inform your policy work, concurrent sessions to help build your skills for engaging in policy, and many opportunities to share and connect with your peers.

Foundations on the Hill 2020

March 9-11, 2020

Join us at Foundations on the Hill (FOTH) along with more than 300 philanthropy representatives from around the country as we head to Washington, DC to speak with our elected officials about the policies that matter most to philanthropy. Foundations on the Hill aims to inform and educate Congress about philanthropy; create visibility for philanthropy on Capitol Hill; advocate on issues affecting foundations and communities; and encourage Congress to view foundations as a resource and partner on key public policy issues.

Presented by United Philanthropy Forum, Foundations on the Hill:

  • Informs and educates Congress about philanthropy;
  • Creates visibility for foundations and philanthropy on Capitol Hill;
  • Advocates on issues important to foundations;
  • Encourages Congress to view foundations as resources on key public policy issues; and
  • Builds your organization’s relationship with lawmakers and their staffs.

While the philanthropic sector builds relationships with Congress year-round, FOTH is the one time a year when philanthropy comes together to speak with one voice to our elected leaders about the unique and vital role that charitable giving plays in America.
