United Philanthropy Forum is committed to working deeply with our members to advance racial equity in philanthropy. To support this commitment, we are undertaking efforts in partnership with our members to create resources and tools to move us all towards a more equitable sector. At the Forum’s annual conference this past July, we asked several of our members, along with some of our colleagues and friends, how they define racial equity. We’re pleased to share with you a new Forum video where we’ve compiled some of their responses.
This is the first of several videos we’ll be sharing with you over the next few months in which our members offer their perspectives on different aspects of racial equity. Our goal with these videos is to spark continued thinking and conversations on racial equity that will lead to action in our field to reduce inequities based on race and ethnicity.
