Greenville Partnership for Philanthropy wanted to find a way to help citizens plug into local government but in a way that wouldn't take a ton of time or effort. As such, they're launching Simple Civics: Greenville County in partnership with the NonProfit Alliance. The new podcast will offer short lessons and updates on local government in weekly episodes that will drop each Tuesday morning. The podcast is available via Apple Podcasts, Audible, Spotify, Stitcher, and on the GPP website.

To better understand current foundation practice — and gauge whether leaders will sustain changes — CEP turned to foundation and nonprofit leaders. The findings in this report are based on data from 284 foundation leaders who responded to a survey and informed by in-depth interviews with 33 foundations and 32 nonprofit organizations grantmakers engage in capacity-building efforts informed through a racial equity lens.
