Fast Forward Podcast: Featuring Dominick Washington
(Minnesota Council on Foundations)

Bush Foundation Communications Director Dominick Washington joins us to explain what he calls “Whole Pig” philanthropy, a way of trying to have an impact at every level and part of an organization. He also talks about how his political and nonprofit background informs his philanthropic work and the ways he thinks about partnerships and cross-sector relationships.

(TCC Group)
The FCCAT is a project to strengthen understanding of philanthropic sector capacity by helping foundations assess their institutional capacity strengths and needs. It is an assessment tool that measures capacities critical to a wide variety of foundations and has been carefully crafted to draw upon the field’s current understanding of the capacities foundations need to advance their mission, and is further informed by TCC Group’s own experience in working with a diversity of foundations. Through generous support from the Ford Foundation, TCC Group is excited to offer the FCCAT free of charge on a limited basis. Foundation participants will receive a customized report describing their individual foundation results from the assessment, and will be invited to join a participant-only free webinar which will highlight aggregate capacity results across foundations. Participants will also contribute to broader knowledge for the field through a field study report that will present aggregated data and analysis. Study participants will also receive a final report on philanthropic sector results in the Fall of 2016.
