Call for Applications: United Philanthropy Forum Racial Equity Mini-Grants

Wednesday, October 9, 2019

We invite our members to apply for United Philanthropy Forum’s Racial Equity Mini-Grants.

To help PSOs overcome financial barriers to engaging in racial equity work, the Forum is offering mini-grant opportunities for our members, thanks to support from Borealis Philanthropy’s Racial Equity in Philanthropy Fund. This mini-grant program will provide Forum members with small grants, up to $5,500, to cover all or part of the costs of a trainer, facilitator, or speaker (or related program expenses) to engage with staff, board, and/or members on an aspect of advancing racial equity. All Forum members are welcome to apply, but priority for the grants will be given to small and mid-sized PSOs and to PSOs that are newer to racial equity work. The Forum will summarize all program evaluations conducted by grantees, so that the learnings across the network can be lifted up and used by all Forum members for ongoing work to advance racial equity.

The deadline for applications is Thursday, October 31, 2019. For more information, please contact Traci Slater-Rigaud, the Forum’s Senior Manager of Member Engagement and Partnerships, at or (202)-457-8784.
