We are pleased to announce a call for applications for the Forum’s Racial Equity Peer Learning Cohorts.
As an effort to advance racial equity among Forum member organizations—and to support member organizations who are at different places on the continuum of equity skills and practice—the Forum is partnering with Change Elemental to create two Racial Equity Peer Learning Cohorts. The Learning Cohorts will be organized according to participants’ knowledge, awareness, and experience relative to advancing organizational equity. One cohort will be focused on beginning to early intermediate equity practitioners and the other will be focused on intermediate to advanced practitioners. Each cohort will have approximately 20 participants each, for a maximum of 40 cohort participants. We anticipate selecting only one person per member organization; however, for larger systems (21 or more staff members) we may select two.
To learn more about the cohorts and to apply for participation, please see the Racial Equity Peer Learning Cohorts Application. The application deadline is Friday, January 10.
In order to apply, each organization must have completed the Forum’s 2019 Racial Equity Assessment as the results will be informing the cohort’s learning design. The extended deadline for the assessment is Tuesday, December 10.
