Leveraging Issues Across Stakeholders to Build Public Policy Wins.

Members of the Forum, colleagues and partner organizations will use the example of immigration policy to discuss and demonstrate how unlikely partners can come together on an issue with diverse players to form coalitions for better public policy.  Through working together across stakeholders, a larger coalition may be formed to influence and inform public policy decisions and to form deeper benches for bipartisan support.

Speakers: Traci Bruckner, Policy Program Director, Sustainable Agriculture & Food Systems Funders (SAFSF); Ferd Hoefner, Senior Strategic Advisor, National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition; Moira Mcdonald, Interim Environment Program Director, Walton Family Foundation and Ricardo Salvador, Ph.D., Director, Food & Environment Program, Union of Concerned Scientists
