This webinar will focus on jointly developed toolkits – one for community foundations and one for private foundations – that explore the ways foundations can and have encouraged their grantees to become more fully engaged in the communities they serve through nonpartisan voter and civic engagement.

Foundations help shape the culture of the nonprofit sector broadly. The language used in grant letters and RFPs, the types of trainings foundations promote to their grantees, direct grantmaking, and more can have profound effects on whether nonprofits engage the populations they serve in voting.
