Emerging Practitioners Peer Community: April 2019

Thursday, April 18, 2019 -
3:00pm to 4:00pm EDT

The Changing Landscape of Philanthropy: What is the Role for Emerging Practitioners?

How are we rethinking philanthropy in an every changing society that is becoming more diverse?  Diverse in the people involved, the way people give, and how philanthropy is set up. Discuss the trends, challenges and opportunities. What role will Emerging Practitioners have in this?  Join us for this important conversation. Phil Buchanan, President & CEO of Center for Effective Philanthropy, will be joining us for the first part of our conversation and exchange.  Phil has recently authored Giving Done Right, a practical guide to philanthropy at all levels of giving that seeks to educate and inspire.

These quarterly calls provide a space for emerging practitioners in philanthropy-serving organizations to exchange information and develop skills to further their careers in philanthropy. This program is restricted to Forum members.
