For several years there has been an informal networking group of philanthropy-serving professionals in DC. These quarterly get-togethers over lunch are an opportunity for colleagues to be introduced and share what’s in the pipeline at their shops.

Professionals working in DC for philanthropy-serving organizations (PSOs) - regardless of Forum membership - are invited to join this informal network. Senior leaders, program and communication staff or others who are responsible for the programs, activities and the pipeline of work at their shop are welcome. Others working at organizations supporting philanthropy including consultants/advisors, evaluators, researchers, etc. are also welcome to participate. Networking gatherings will help participants get to know one another, build personal relationships, keep abreast of what’s happening in each other’s shops in DC as well as offer the opportunity to better connect with the Forum’s work. On occasion there will be some programmatic elements to the gatherings but they will mostly be for conversation and sharing amongst attendees.

If you are interested in joining this DC-based peer network, please contact Brandon Iracks-Edelin at brandon@unitedphilforum.org or 202-991-5217.
