Presenter: Sara Sanders, Regional Chapter Manager, PEAK Grantmaking
This workshop provides ten tips for improving grantmaking practices from research and case studies developed by PEAK Grantmaking and covers a range of practices and process components, including applications, reporting, data, and communications. For instance, using GuideStar, which uses demographic data to apply a racial equity lens and other core practices, for core proposal and report information can increase your overall impact. Participants can share what they would add to the list from their own best practices to help their colleagues improve their practices.
During this workshop, participants will:
- Review 10 tips for implementing practices that will improve your grantmaking
- Learn about ways to reduce the burden on grantees – and your staff – of administering grants
