Preparing Our Institutions, Funders, and Communities for a Rapidly Changing World:  A Skill-Building Session for Climate Preparedness, Racial Justice, and Equitable Resilience

Breaking down silos, centering racial equity, partnering with frontline communities, and building environmental, climate, and disaster resilience into everything we do is no longer merely optional. This skills session will draw on our Funder Toolkit on Climate, Health, and Equity and other relevant philanthropic frameworks to help our organizations, members, and communities respond to the co-occurring crises of racial injustice, climate change, and health inequity. Together, we’ll discuss what we’ve already learned from operating during a pandemic and a racial reckoning. And we’ll take a 'solutions' orientation to identify opportunities to address multiple interconnected problems at once. Participants will come away with new skills and frameworks that could immediately be applied to the challenges they’re seeing in their work.
