SAFSF finally got a handle on this problem by building a business process database that maps the who, what, why, when and how of each step in a process like event registration or membership renewal, including where and how our extensively integrated automations interact with staff actions and decisions. Join us to learn why our entire team is so excited about a database that started with a narrow focus of documenting connections between our technology platforms, but grew into a robust reference for capturing and visualizing the business processes that power all of our work. The new database is proving to be a fast and effective tool to provide training, improve internal communications, and broaden our staff's collective understanding of how our work gets done.
