Extraordinary Collaboration for Extraordinary Times: Equity over ego to move corporate action

Given the twin societal challenges of COVID-19 and racial reckoning of 2020, the old, siloed way of nonprofits in the same space operating independently would not suffice. To listen, uncover, and challenge, organizations needed to come together and show unity. The session will share a case study of how four partner nonprofit organizations came together quickly in service of the companies they all served to source and scale vital solutions. They needed to band together to create the type of dialogue that was long overdue. The partners will share the process, the partnership which followed, along with the challenges, opportunities, and lessons learned, so that others may use this partnership model to continue the work.
