Living our values calls for a new framework for philanthropy operations. The Changemaker Experience (CX) is gaining prominence as a model for understanding how nonprofits, fund recipients and partners experience the full lifecycle of their relationship with funders. Centering on CX provides an end-to-end framework for how grantmakers can listen, adapt, and work across silos and power blocks to center on what matters most: The ability of grantees -- changemakers -- to realize the outcomes of their mission.
This session by the Technology Association of Grantmakers presents a model for CX, borrowing from similar approaches in higher education and healthcare. PSOs will learn techniques such as constituent journey mapping and become familiar with organizational structures that integrate the changemaker experience into the heart of a foundation's operations.
