For several years there has been an informal networking group of philanthropy-serving professionals in DC. Volunteer leadership has organized get-togethers over lunch so new colleagues could be introduced and everyone could share what’s in the pipeline at their shops. United Philanthropy Forum is now managing the DC Pipeline Group and will organize quarterly gatherings.
Professionals working in DC for philanthropy-serving organizations are invited to join this informal network. Senior leaders, program and communication staff or others who are responsible for the programs, activities and the pipeline of work at their shop are welcome. Networking gatherings will help participants get to know one another, build personal relationships, keep abreast of what’s happening in each other’s shops in DC as well as offer the opportunity to better connect with the Forum’s work. On occasion there will be some programmatic elements to the gatherings but they will mostly be for conversation and sharing amongst attendees.
