Get Involved: Defend & Advance Philanthropy's Freedom
In response to federal actions and harmful legislation that threaten the entire philanthropic ecosystem —from infrastructure organizations to foundations to the nonprofits they support— United Philanthropy Forum has launched a coordinated campaign to protect the essential role that each part of this ecosystem plays in building a vibrant civil society.
As the largest and most diverse network in American philanthropy, United Philanthropy Forum holds a unique position in the social sector to help increase philanthropy’s impact in communities across the country.
The KM Collaborative is a transformational technology service and an invaluable peer-learning community. More than 30 philanthropy-infrastructure organizations have joined forces to create, maintain and continually improve the collective technology platform that powers their mission-critical applications.
The Forum supports and advances the work of our members to strengthen and grow effective philanthropic practice through high-quality philanthropy education in two primary ways. First, we provide education for national and regional philanthropy-infrastructure organizations to advance their important work in the sector. Second, we provide education that our members can deliver to their members and constituents to advance effective philanthropy.
The Forum’s mission is to lead, strengthen, inform, connect, and mobilize a national network of organizations that advance philanthropy's impact for the common good.
In order to carry out that mission, the Forum recognizes the critical importance of substantial engagement in the public policy process.
